As of last night, we have a new addition to our family. His name is Flash, (thanks to an anonymous person who voted against me). He was born on 11/10/2008 (Also Michael's 8th Birthday) and he is a cockerspaniel. He is very cute and much loved already. He has made a friend and an enemy of Tanis as she is not really sure what to think about this new little thing. Will post videos when I can get some. For now, here are a few pictures of our first night with the puppy, which to say the least was like having a new born baby. 

Merry Christmas Everyone!

We hope that everyone had a good Christmas. We had a nice one spending time with family. Here are only two pics that we took while at Grandma Char's house. Tan is getting so big, and as normal daddy couldn't wait to get out of there...lol. Tan could care less about the presents but I am sure that it will be different next year, especially since big brother will be home to help her. Michae comes home on Sat (change of plans) so I can't wait to hear all about his vacation and what he got from Santa at his daddy's house. :) We miss everyone and love you tons. 

FYI

Well, it's final. We are moving back to Bakersfield. Things just aren't working as we wished they would here in Turlock, so we are relocating again. We are very sad to be going and hope to be back sooner than later. We are going to miss all our family and friends that we are leaving, but also glad to be closer to the one we haven't been able to spend much time with lately. Much love to you all where ever you are!!!!!!!

McCammon Update

Just an updated on what has been going on around the house hold. I am now working weekends permanantly. Yeah. Daddy is doing a great job at helping me get rest in the am on the weekends. The kids are doing great. Michael's grades in school are going up so that is a plus.

Tanis has her 1yr appt last week. The darn kid is 24.5lbs and 33.9inch long. She's beyond 95% of both, so she's doing great. Dr said she's not overweight and her height is,  you guessed it, because of daddy. lol. She's doing really good. Talking a mile a minute, nothing we can really understand. There are some words she says, we think we understand but who really knows. Her favorite word for the last few months has been "mama" much to daddys distress. She has learned to tell you when she's full, (ssshhhhh...it doesn't happen very much LOL), when she doesn't like the food you have put on her plate, she's even starting to run in to the bathroom and point at the toilet. We now go "potty" in the toilet before each bath, and a few times a day she will go in there and we will try. Sometimes we go, and sometimes we don't. We read books everyday, she has her favorites. So, guess what she is getting for Christmas. More books. She tries to steal brothers school books and my books and brings them to me to read. lol. I hope she is like her mom and brother and a novel reader. :) Daddy is alergic to books. :)

Adam is doing good. His same old self. Working part time for a friend of ours out in Tracey, so I don't get to see much of him, or the family. But that is life, so as it goes.

Dads catch of the day, sadly he was too small so we had to put him back, but he was pretty...

This past Saturday we took the the two little ones fishing. Michael had his own pole, got to bait the line and all. Unfortunately, we had a fish that seemed to love taking Michaels bait without being caught. He was a little sad at first but we explained to him that it happens that way some times. Other than that, he had a blast, and I think he loved most being able to do something with his step dad, which he now also calls dad, Adam. Tanis and I went along and she wasn't feeling up to par, so we just played in the back of the truck. Her favorite part was when a boat went by and made little waves on our side of the delta,she would sream and laugh and then point at the boat. She just thought it was so funny. Just another update

I have been at my job now for two weeks. I am loving it. I work in the ER in the local hospital. It's very interesting, and to say the least everyday is different. I love it so far.
Miss Tanis and I are currently in Bakersfield visiting my grandfather, which has been really nice. Tanis loves being here, having full run of the house, the dogs, (which she loves to play with) and grandad. We got here Friday night pretty late, and dropped Michael off with his father Sat morning. This morning grandad took us out to breakfast. It's been nice to be able to spend some time with him, however next time I believe that we will be staying in a hotel. I love him with all my heart, however I can't be quiet at 7am, and I am not a person who can get up at 3 in the morning. No way, no thank you. lol.

We head back up to Valencia to get Michael this evening, and then,m yay, I get to drive home. That's going to be a fun 5-6 hours on the road, alone, with the big kid and Little Kid. Just can't wait to get home and have some peace and quiet.
I will have some new pics of Tanis from this weekend to put up, but will have to wait until I get home to download.

Adam got some time this weekend to himself, Tan and I got to visit family, and Michael got to see his family down south. All and all I would say that it was a pretty good weekend.

It's Sunday

Hi to everyone. I am starting a new job tomorrow, yay, back in the work force. I will be working for the local hospital and it seems like a good opportunity. Got to go shopping this past weekend for some "work" clothes, as the clothes I used to wear to work were everyday clothes. I love being able to dress up now.
Miss Tanis is doing ok. Got over her ear infection but now she has a little cold, but seems to be clearing that out of her system also. On her way to getting bigger and bigger...lol.
Michael is doing good. Loving school as always.
Adam left today to go to his friends house in Bakersfield until tomorrow night, so that gave me some time alone with the kids and to prepare for the day ahead of me tomorrow.

I'm Home

Hi there everyone. I wanted to let you all know what has been going on. We went to Hall and Oats on Monday and that was awesome. The venue was beautiful and the weather was perfect. All weekend Michael and I had been sick, and as of Wed morning I was admitted to the hospital. I was just released today. I am so glad to be home. I hate being at the hosptital, and the little one doesn't want much to do with me since I was gone. This hospital stay sucked almost as much as the one after my surgery. Had a couple of good nurses and some bad ones. A stupid Dr that I am sure if I wasn't there my husband would have killed. Other than that, all turned out ok, I am home, on more meds again, and we go from there. I have pics of the venue and some of the kids, will download and post soon. For now, I need my rest and time with the family. Hope all you out there are doing good. We miss you and love you.

We just got the Wii system. Man, my two men sure do look funny playing. They tired Miss Tan out just watching. lol.

Thank goodness, all seems to be well in the house now. Tanis is doing well, Michael's fever lasted a couple of days, and they are both on their way to being normal again. Yay.

Well, as we have Miss Tanis starting to get better. Mr Michael is now running a fever. Let's all pray that he is not getting what Miss Tanis has. Michael starts school in just over a week and we got the news that the school is full so he may now have to be going to another school on the other side of town. Yay, much fun. Especially since we have him enrolled in after school day care already in this school. Wish us luck. Until later.

Update on Tanis

Just an update on Miss Tan she is doing better. Still not yet herself, but we are getting there. We have been able to keep her fever below 100 for the last couple of hours, but the night, as all you parents know out there who have had sick kids, was very long to say the least. xoxoxoxo us

Monday was little miss Tanis 1st Birthday. Her party (a small family get together was nice) and then it all went crazy. She was running a low grade fever all day, then we just couldn't get it down. Miss Tanis and mommy spent all night in the ER. Turns out she has strep throat, unknown as to where she has contracted it. She is now on meds, doing ok, but to say the least the days and nights are very long. Still working on getting the fever down and it's not very easy to get her to take her meds. Other than that, we are all doing ok. Miss everyone.
