Fire, Life & Whatnot

Well, there have been many changes afoot and life's been a little crazy for the last month. Most of it I don't really want to make public. The kids are doing great, Mike is in CA with his dad and the rests of his family. He can't wait to come home and we can't wait to have him come home. We miss him so much. His little brother still asks to say goodnight to him when it's time for bed. At least Tanis is now old enough to stay up and do webcam with him so that's a plus.

There is a major fire burning down a lot of the beloved mountains around here. Up until the end of last week the whole west side of the town was closed down to everyone and at one point the fire burned down 346 homes. Two people passed away in the fire. (sadly they were people who didn't wish to evacuate when they were asked to). Now, it is 80% contained, not gone, but contained. Thats better, but still. This fire went from bad to worse in a matter of minutes/hours.

Nolan got his first real haircut and he actually did fabulous .Normally at home he screams, doesn't want it cute, etc, but he did great.

Later on last month he decided to do this, and had a huge lump in the top of his nose...ugh he is a BOY!

Day 3 same spot and now all you can see is smoke. At night all the smoke was orange and you could tell it was still a huge fire
