I can not believe that the little boy we had no idea that God was going to bless us is turning 2 years old today. 2 years ago today we brought you into this world and you are such a miracle. We have watched you grow up in to such a strong, smart outstanding toddler. You amaze us each and every day. You are so quick to learn, you are so super stubborn ( no idea where you get that, maybe your dad, mom or all three of your grandmothers) and you are already talking a mile a minute. You are learning so fast it amazes us. You love to read your books, you copy every word and sentence that everyone says (yes, good and bad) and you absolutely adore your big brother and sister. I love how when you wake up the first person you call out for is Tenis (Tanis) and the first person you want to tell goodnight to is (Michael). I can only pray that the love you have for them can carry on through the years.
I love you little dude and I can't wait to see the little man that you continue to grow in to each and every day. I just hope that you never grow out of the days where you want to hug and kiss mommy good night. I love you buddy. Happy Birthday big boy!

Short update
So, we are all still sick. First time we have all been sick, EVER. I mean ALL of us. From Nolan all the way up to Adam. I ended up taking Nolan and myself to the Dr's on Monday night and his ear infections are taking a little longer but they are getting better, but I too have an ear infection (which I might add I haven't had in YEARS) and another sinus infection. Tanis and Adam seem to be getting over it pretty quickly and Michael is back to normal. Hoping we are all better very soon.
I went in last Friday for a blood test to check my thyroid levels. I have been feeling off for months, but the last time I saw my thyroid Dr he said all was ok. I have been extremely tired (and I mean passing out when I simply sit down for two seconds, and so moody it's not funny) and it turns out it's my thyroid levels. Normal levels are .4-2.0 and I am sitting at 30. Yup, you read that right, my levels are through the roof. Leave it to me to be a medical freak! So now instead of my med levels being at 100mcg my Dr is changing them to 200mcg. That, people, is a major change. So, I am hoping that this too will help with those other symptoms, we shall see. I should know by now to listen to my body and my instincts and not the Drs. You would think huh. lol.
Hope you all out there in Blogger world are doing great!

This week can suck it!
I can not wait for next Monday to come. Really, I can't. I am hoping by then that this stupid bug is gone from our home. Michael and Nolan were sick on Tuesday and Wed. Nolan was still sick Thur and screaming in his sleep so I took him to the Dr's and it turns out he has his first (at least in my sleep deprived state I believe it is) double ear-infection. His Dr put him on antibiotics for 10 days. Then, Thursday night I hear coughing and gaging from their room. Thinking it's Nolan I got his sippy cup of pedialyte ready and went to get him. Low and behold it's not him. Yup, you got it. It's Tanis. And this girl is stubborn to a T. She's laying in bed, tossing, turning, and coughing her head off but won't actually wake up so I can get some medicine and water in to her. lol. So she slept the rest of the night and I gave her some medicine this morning. She woke up saying she didn't feel good and that she was all "plugged up" lol. She's too cute even when she's sick.
Oh, and did I mention that at midnight when I got up for the third time already to take the puppy out that my nose was plugged and my throat was killing me. Yup, I am now down with this crap too. I want it all gone and cleared out by Monday. By they way, I also have a yard sale set for tomorrow that will not be canceled because next weekend is going to be horrible weather. Ugh, sometimes things just are....ya you know. :)
Hope y'all have a great weekend!

2 out of 3 Are Sickly
A new puppy with new born nightly rituals and 2 out of 3 of my babies are sickly. It has been a great start to this week already.
The first two nights we had Happy (yes folks that is what the kidos named her) spent them in a pack and play. They didn't go very well. Once we started putting her in her crate, well things went a little bit better. Then I remembered when we were little my dad used to treat a puppy like a bird. When we were home and they had to be crated we put a little towel or light blanket over the front of it so they weren't jealous they weren't out with us. It works, it really works. She is only in there when I can't watch her and the kids at the same time, or at night. She does really good. She goes right at 2 hours at night, on the dime. I have to set my alarm for two hours or she whines. No food or water for two hours before bed, we spend a half our or so rough housing before bed and the last two nights (with her) have been ok.
Yesterday Michael stayed home sick from school and Nolan was sickly all day. Last night poor Nolan stood at his baby gate in his room, screamed and then proceeded to vomit, for the second time that day. Ugh. I can honestly I am so so tired of seeing vomit come out of this kid. And I am so sure he is tired of vomiting, although he seems to feel better afterward. Last night, he was up all night long. Went between the couch and my lap in the recliner. (my favorite place to sleep when a munchkin is sickly). Michael is home sick again today and I am hoping I can get everyone on a schedule good enough today so that I can manage even an hours nap.
Poor Tan is now locked in seclusion in our room so that she doesn't get sick. But thats ok. She has plenty to do. Coloring crayons and books, her leap pen, puzzles, etc.
Just hoping this passes quickly and that the mommy, daddy and sister don't get it. Here's to keeping the fingers crossed.
