Update

Well, there's been a lot going on around here. I've been back to the ER the day before Thanksgiving because I blacked out twice in one day. I have never done this before. There are two parts of the day, about 2 minutes worth that I don't even know what happened. My husband said it's like I wasn't there and then my legs just went out from underneath me. It was scary. I am so happy I have help here with me.

We celebrated Thanksgiving and Tan and I went and saw my uncle and his family. We weren't able to stay long since I wasn't supposed to be driving much anyways. :) I just haven't seen them in too long and I really wanted to see them.

Last night we had our first snow and today, it's stuck. :) Tan is in love with the snow. Daddy took her outside last night to play for it in for a little bit and then took baby boy out there for a quick second. Tan keeps looking outside today and saying "it's snowing out there!!!" lol. She loves it now. Last year when it snowed it scared her the first time.

Other than that, all is well. I am recovering, Tan is growing like a little weed. Baby boy was finally diagnosed with reflux and he is now on meds and they seem to be helping a whole lot, thank goodness. Here are some other updated pictures.

Yup, it's a Christmas tree :)

This year, with all that has been going on we decided to add a little cheer to the house and we decorated for Christmas. Daddy put up the tree and we decorated the tree and the apartment. Of course we took turns because mommy needed several breaks to rest but it was a nice time had by all. Tan had a blast, got to put ornaments on the tree and decide where all the extra decorations were going to be put up on the wall. She had a blast being boss for a couple of hours. I will have more pictures of the final outcome soon. We had a blast.

Oh, my favorite ER

Yes, I ended up in the ER on Fri. For the first time in a long time, I was freaked out. I have help now at home, but still, hubby called at the right time, I told him what was wrong (will spare the details) and he said he would call me right back. He called said he was on the way home and be ready to go to the ER. As I finally get the call back from my Drs office on call nurse who also said that I needed to go to the ER.  So, I get to the ER, in severe pain with other symptoms that are scaring the day lights out of me, they were super quick about everything. They got me triaged and in to a room fast. Then the waiting began. They ran blood tests to make sure that I had no infection and my blood levels were ok, all was good. Then, the pain began. The Dr decided he needed to do an internal exam. So, that was not fun. It hurt extremely bad, as in when he was done it felt like surgery day all over again. When I went to leave I couldn't even walk for the next two days. It turns out that I popped a couple of internal stitches. So, I was on a strict to do-nothing for the next three days, then no heavy lifting again for two more week, and no driving until I am off my pain meds. This whole thing has put me right back to the begining. Oh joys. Thank goodness for all the help at home. The house was empty on Sat so I got a much  needed nap. Other than that, we are taking it one day at a time.

Yay, Im finally home

Well, I had the surgery on Fri morning, was pretty drowsy until late late that night. The hubby came and sat with me for a while but since I was asleep most of the time, he took off to spend some quality time with the babies. I was sent a beautiful bouqet of flowers that I wasn't able to actually visualize until Sat morning. The food at this hospital, amazing!  Their menu is like a 5 start hotels. I ate like crazy Fri night, and it was delicious.
this was my dinner the night of my surgery
(i had a breakfast croissant with ham and bacon, piece of cinnamon coffee cake, a cinnamon raisin bagel (for later that night) a banana nut muffin (again for later that night), terimasu cake and tapioca pudding)
It was awesome. I couldn't eat it all, but save the breads for later bc my meds made me sick to my stomach)

Then, Sat morning I ordered what I thought was going to be the best breakfast I've had in a long time and I couldn't even eat it. For some reason severe dizziness and neasousness hit me really bad.

this was breakfast, eggs benedict, oatmeal cookie, terimasu and chocolate milk.

Due to those two little complications I eneded up having to stay Sat night in the hospital too so that I could be monitored. Sat night a friend came and sat with me for a few hours and brought a great DVD to watch while she was there. This person who came and sat with me, her and her husband have a heart of gold. They helped us out way above the call of duty. She's also adopted our children as her own grandchildren. lol. Now our kids have more grandparents then either one of us did, Their 2 real grandpas, my uncle T calls Papa and aunt she calls grandma, and now a whole nother loving set. :) Our children are so blessed. they spoiled baby boy by getting him his first walker and a bumbo to feed him it. :) He loves them both. The walker just happens to be the same one his sister had when she was little too. :)

Sat while I was in the hospital daddy took Miss T out to get her second haircut. I had decided since I couldn't even reach the end of it to wash it it was high time fror another cut. They only took a couple of inches off and she got it done up too.

So, I am home now. In a lot of pain, still pretty dizzy, feeling blah, but I am so so happy to be home.

Pumpkin carving and trick-or-treating

Well, this year, we did it. Yay. We carved a pumpkin and went trick-or-treating. When it came to the pumpkin carving Tan wasn't having any of the mess. We tried to get her to put her hand in the pumpkin to help clean it, no way, she freaked out. lol.

For Halloween we went to a friends house. We had a very nice relaxing dinner, went trick-or-treating while Mr Baby got to stay at their house, and then when we got back we helped pass out candy, pop-corn and hot chocolate. It was an amazing and tiring night.
